Fire Safety Awareness & Disaster Preparedness Demonstration

“Be Aware, Be Prepared, Be Safe”

In observance of the International Day for Natural Disaster Reduction (IDNDR), the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Pioneer College of Arts and Science, in association with the Tamil Nadu Fire & Rescue Services, Periyanaickenpalayam, organized an impactful awareness event on 13th October 2025.

The session was presided over by Dr. K. Murugesan, Principal, and felicitated by Dr. V. Ramachandran, Administrative Officer. The event was graced by Mr. Jayavelu, Revenue Inspector, and Mr. M. Muthu, Village Administrative Officer, Periyanaickenpalayam.

The chief guest and resource person, Mr. K. Jagadeesh Chandrabose, Station Fire Officer, Periyanaickenpalayam Fire Station, Coimbatore, conducted a live demonstration on fire safety measures, evacuation techniques, and first aid procedures.
