Welcome to Pioneer College of Arts and Science
Pioneer College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, a higher educational institution (HEI), is a unit of Pioneer Trust housed in a green campus located just outside of Coimbatore City in Tamil Nadu, India.
Higher Education Programs
Academic programmes in Computer Science, Commerce, and Business Management streams are offered by the college. The college provides a number of three year UG courses (BSc, BCom, BCA, and BBA) and two year PG courses (MCom and MSc) in the above streams, in addition to MPhil / PhD research options in Computer Science and Commerce domains. Pioneer College of Arts and Science is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, accredited by NAAC and recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC).
Pioneer College serves the higher education needs of Coimbatore, Nilgiris and Tirupur districts in Tamil Nadu. It also caters to the needs of students from Kerala and Andhra Pradesh in addition to the rest of Tamil Nadu region.
Coimbatore, an Industrial hub, Healthcare hub, and Education Hub, is known for its higher educational institutions (HEIs) in Arts, Science, Medicine, Engineering and Technology, and Business Management.
Ooty (aka Uthagamandalam), popular hill station, is just 60 Kms away from the Pioneer College campus located on Coimbatore - Mettupalayam Road (National Highway NH-181).
Infrastructure Facilities
Pioneer College of Arts and Science has well developed infrastructure facilities to support the needs of students and faculty members. Infrastructure Facilities include Computer Labs, Media Labs, Auditorium, Conference and Seminar Halls, Smart Classrooms, Library, Cafeteria, Hostel, Fitness room, Gym, and Dressing rooms, among other facilities.
CRV Sports Complex
The college has a full fledged Sports Complex within the campus. Pioneer sports facilities include Football ground, Basketball grounds, Cricket ground, Valley ball and Handball courts, Kho Kho courts, multiple Kabaddi Courts (indoor and outdoor) - both mud and mat courts, Cricket Nets, Athletics facilities, and Running Track.
About Pioneer Trust
Pioneer Trust, is a pioneer in the field of education and was founded in 1997 by eminent personalities of Coimbatore - Sri.G.Devarajan and Smt.D.Suguna who hail from the GRG and LMW families respectively.
The trust is ably administered by Smt. Aparna Rajkumar, Managing Trustee, an entrepreneur, sports and media personality. Her professional interests include Education, Sports, and Media. She serves as the Secretary of Pioneer College of Arts and Science, Jothipuram, Coimbatore.

"DEVARAJAN AUDITORIUM" is a state-of-art auditorium, built to accommodate about 1000 students. It is well used as an ideal place for seminars, conferences, assemblies, celebration and placement event.
Pioneer College houses a medium sized conference hall which can accommodate over 200 students for conferences, seminars and workshops.
Air-conditioned seminar hall with LCD Projector and Multimedia facilities is available for the benefit of faculty and students.
Pioneer College of Arts and Science has six computer laboratories with over 300 computers and LCD projectors.
Visual Communication Lab provides facilities for producing 2D graphic projects, color charts and resource manuals.
Media and Animation Lab supports training and practical experience in game, film, and animation design.
Classrooms with smart digital panels and LED projectors connected to broadband internet service help the faculty deliver their lessons effectively.
The college has a knowledge packed library. Every year information on various subject is updated by the addition of latest publications including professional journals and magazines.
Pioneer Sports Academy offers training programmes and coaching camps conducted by professional coaches for Pioneer Students. Pioneer Sports Complex includes multiple courts for sports and games.
Pioneer Training and Placement Centre prepares the outgoing students to prepare for the recruitment process through specialised training and ensures job offers for everyone.
Pioneer Cafeteria provides healthy snacks, beverages and to-go lunches for the staff and students in a spacious indoor / outdoor facility.
Pioneer College of Arts and Science has both open dining areas and covered dining hall for students bringing their own food for lunch.
Bus facilities are provided for the students coming from villages like Velliangadu, Karamadai, Sirumugai, Alangombu, Thudiyalur, Gandhipuram and Peelamedu.
Hostel accommodation for boys and girls with all amenities is available. Dormitory style accommodation with healthy vegetarian food and Non vegetarian food is available for students from distant locations.

I really want to thank the management and each and every staff member of the college for their care and kindness. Presently, I am working as an Assistant Manager for a corporate company.
