As mandated by National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) of Government of India, Pioneer College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore has a support system to encourage and foster innovation and entrepreneurship among the students and faculty. The activities include organizing innovation programmes, entrepreneurship development workshops, marketing 101 programmes, talks by entrepreneurs, IPR seminars, startup idea to product workshops, etc.

Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at Pioneer College of Arts and Science
established in the academic year 2021-2022 under the guidance of AICTE
and Ministry of Education to systematically foster the culture of
Innovation. The primary objective of Innovation Council is to encourage,
inspire and take care of young students by supporting them to work with
new ideas and transform them into prototypes while they are informative
years. A network of these IICs will be established to promote
innovation in the Institution through multitudinous modes leading to an
