Academic Excellence
Right from its inception, the college has focused on the academic excellence of its students. The College has consistently produced high percentages of results and university ranks in all streams every year. As of date, the college has produced 100 ranks, including 15 gold medals.
Character building
What we emphasize to our students is that academic achievement is only valuable when it is coupled with good character. So discipline, respecting elders, and upholding the culture and heredity of the nation are stressed.
Culture and values
The college endorses the culture and values of the nation by celebrating important festivals (Pongal, Onam, Margazhi utsavam, Christmas) and important days like Independence Day, Republic Day, Human Rights Day, Navy Day, Armed Forces Flag Day, Consumer Rights Day, etc. The students imbibe their respective values through these celebrations.
Support the needy
Scholarships, concessions, and free education play a big role in helping students achieve their higher education ambitions. Merit scholarships and fee concessions are given to students with exceptional academic records. Need-based scholarships are given to students from less privileged backgrounds, like those with low family incomes, destitute children, etc.
Acclimatise new developments
We focus on the continuous evolution of higher education to keep pace with the latest technological advances, such as open-source technologies, the internet, and ICT tools. We conduct regular training programs for faculty and students to progressively adopt new technologies in their teaching and learning processes.
Environment sustainability
Efforts are taken to make the college eco-friendly and green campus by planting trees, utilizing waste water, using energy-saving devices, rainwater harvesting, e-waste management, etc.
