Poet Dr. Kavidasan at Pioneer Bharathi Vizha 2024

The Bharathi Vizha was held at Pioneer College of Arts and Science, Perianaickenpalayam, Coimbatore on Tuesday, 17.12.2024.

The event was presided over by Mr. G. Padmanabhan, Administrative Officer of Pioneer Trust. The Head of the Tamil Department of Pioneer College, Dr. Anbushiva, delivered the welcome address, followed by the Principal, Mr. P. Rajappan, who delivered a congratulatory message.

Poet Dr. Kavidasan is a well known motivational speaker and orator.

  as the Chief Guest, participated in the event and delivered an inspiring speech on Bharathi’s life, the meaning of his songs, culture, traditions, education, and societal values.

Following the speech, the students’ cultural performances were conducted with great enthusiasm. Special prizes were awarded by the chief guest, Dr. Kavidasan, to students who secured top marks in Tamil in the University Examinations.

The event saw the participation of all department professors and more than 150 students.
