NBA Programme Launched at Pioneer Trust

Pioneer Trust proudly launched the prestigious National Basketball Association (NBA) Programme) at the PioneerCAS basketball facility on 01.12.2025 (Monday) at 5 PM, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s commitment to developing sports excellence among students.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by PioneerCAS Secretary Smt. Aparna Rajkumar, Principal Dr. K. Murugesan, Administrative Officer Dr. V. Ramachandran, and Pioneer Hr. Sec. School HM Mrs. M. Priya, whose presence added immense value to the event.

The programme also witnessed the participation of distinguished guests from Yali Sports — Mrs. Yoga Abirami, Mr. Vishnu, Mr. Godhand, and Mr. Nithin — along with NBA Coach Mr. Kishore, who played a key role in coordinating and supporting the initiative.

During the event, Mrs. Yoga Abirami delivered a special motivational address, inspiring junior players to pursue basketball with dedication and discipline. The Secretary, Smt. Aparna Rajkumar, also addressed the gathering, encouraging young athletes to make the best use of this globally recognized training opportunity.

The launch of the NBA Programme signifies the Trust’s vision to provide world-class sports training and expose students to international coaching standards. The collaboration aims to nurture emerging talent, strengthen fundamentals, and create opportunities for students to excel competitively at both national and international levels.

The event concluded with an interactive session between the coaches and the student players, followed by a demonstration of fundamental drills. The programme is set to continue throughout the academic year, providing structured training to students from PioneerCAS and Pioneer Hr. Sec. School.
