Improving Ranking in NIRF – Conference at Coimbatore
Association of Self-financing Arts and Science and Management Colleges of Tamil Nadu (ASFASM) organised an one day State Conference programme on NIRF Ranking in Coimbatore recently. Eminent personalities and domain experts in the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) related work showcased their experience and wisdom. Over a hundred management representatives and senior faculty members from various colleges from all over Tamilnadu participated as audience in the programme.
The one day programme delve deep into the nitty gritty of scoring better ranking in NIRF by the member institutions. Various criteria (such as research, IPR, publications) that lead to improved ranking were analysed and discussed.
The speakers include the Vice Chancellor of Tamilnadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Pro chancellor of Karpagam University and Secretary of PSGRK College of Women, Coimbatore.
Administrative Officer Mr G. Padmanabhan from Pioneer College of Arts and Science (PCAS), Coimbatore participated in the programme and gathered significant inputs from the conference. Pioneer College has gone through two cycles of NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) surveys and participated in multiple NIRF surveys.
