Annual & Sports Day Celebration 2026

Pioneer College of Arts and Science celebrated its Annual and Sports Day on 24 March 2026 with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The event brought together students, faculty, and distinguished guests for a memorable occasion that highlighted the institution’s achievements.

The programme was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Smt. Srilatha Jaganathan, Correspondent of Sri K. Rangasamy Naidu Higher Secondary School, Periyanaickenpalayam. Her inspiring address and engaging interaction with students served as a source of motivation and encouragement.

Smt. Aparna Rajkumar, Secretary of the institution, delivered a thought-provoking speech, encouraging students to strive for excellence in all their endeavors. The Principal, K. Murugesan, welcomed the gathering and presented the Annual Report, outlining the academic and co-curricular accomplishments of the college over the past year.

A key highlight of the event was the distribution of medals and certificates to the Best Students of the Year in both academics and sports. These awards were presented by the Chief Guest, recognizing the dedication and outstanding achievements of the students.

The celebration also featured a variety of vibrant cultural programmes, showcasing the creativity, talent, and enthusiasm of the students, which added color and energy to the event.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Prof. P. Rajappan, in the presence of the Administrative Officer, Dr. V. Ramachandran, faculty members, and students.
