Coimbatore, June 19, 2026: Pioneer College of Arts and Science successfully conducted the Day 3 Outbound Programme as part of its Student Induction Programme 2026–2027 at Aliyar Arivu Thirukovil. The programme was designed to offer first-year students an experiential learning opportunity beyond the classroom while fostering personal growth, teamwork, environmental awareness, and holistic development.
As part of the visit, students were introduced to the life and philosophy of Vethathiri Maharishi, the founder of Aliyar Arivu Thirukovil, whose teachings emphasize peace, self-realization, and holistic living. They participated in a guided meditation session that promoted mental calmness, mindfulness, and inner peace.
The students also explored the museum, where they viewed the preserved personal belongings, photographs, and memorabilia of Vethathiri Maharishi. The visit provided valuable insights into his life, teachings, and remarkable contributions to society.
The outbound programme proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience, encouraging students to cultivate self-discipline, positive values, and a balanced approach to life as they begin their academic journey. The initiative reflects Pioneer College of Arts and Science’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals through experiential learning and value-based education.
