College Committee

The College Committee is the apex body that runs the college, and it comprises the President, Secretary, Joint Secretary along with the Principal, University nominee, and two senior faculty members. The main objective of the committee is to fix the fees and other charges payable by the students of the college on the recommendations of the admission committee, to appoint staff for various positions, to institute scholarships on the recommendations of the academic council, to provide approval for the conduct of new programmes of study leading to degrees and/or diplomas with proper affiliation from Bharathiar University, and to make regulations regarding the activities of the college for sports, extracurricular activities, the proper functioning of the college, and the proper maintenance of the physical facilities, playgrounds, and hostels.

Internal Complaints Committee

As per the instructions of Bharathiar University and UGC, an internal compliance committee has been constituted at the college under the chairmanship of the principal with the prime objective of providing protection against sexual harassment of women at the workplace. Besides, the committee regularly organizes guest lectures and awareness programs on stress-related issues pertaining to women and the legislative measures framed for the protection of women and their welfare.
In pursuance of UGC (Prevention Prohibition and Redressel of Sexual Harassment of Women employees and students in higher education institutions) Regulations, 2015 read with Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressel) Act, 2013, an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is constituted to deal with the complaints relating to Sexual harassment of women at workplace.

Student Grievance Redressal Committee

The objective of the Student Grievance Redressal Committee is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere at the College. Priority is given by the management to address the complaints and grievances of the students, and they are resolved at the earliest. With the help of the Principal, Vice principal and Heads of Departments, this committee provides timely support and help to students regarding their grievances. Suggestions/Complaint  boxes are placed in prominent places for the students to convey their views anonymously.

Anti-Ragging Committee

Ragging is totally banned in the college and it is a punishable offence. The Government of Tamil Nadu has banned ragging in all educational institutions by passing an order ‘Tamil Nadu Prohibition, of Ragging Act 1997’ (Vide its order No.7 of 14.02.1997) which stipulates that indulging in ragging will be punished as follows: (1) Imprisonment up to a term of two years, (2) A fine up to Rs. 10,000 (Rs. Ten Thousand) and (3) The Student convicted of ragging will be dismissed from the institution and shall not be admitted in any other educational institutions. Hence students are instructed not to indulge ragging and stay away from such misconducts and rise up against this evil.

ANTI-DRUG COMMITTEE
(2025-2026)

 Anti-Drug has been constituted to monitor and ensure a drug-free campus by imposing a total ban on the possession or consumption or use of drugs and alcohol by the students of the college within or outside the campus.  The objective of the committee is to spread awareness to ensure a drug/substance-free campus, to engage the students in
anti-drug activities and to educate the students on its ill-effects.
